Ewan McGregor’s exceptionally impressive resume includes fantastic performances in TRAINSPOTTING, MOULIN ROUGE, STAR WARS, BIG FISH, THE GHOST WRITER and BEGINNERS (just to name a few). This includes his latest, HAYWIRE, where he brings to life a fellow named Kenneth. Kenneth is an untrusting sort that will leave you guessing his intentions. However, Gina Carano’s Mallory Kane will do her best to sort it all out.
McGregor has long been a favorite of mine. Ever sense his fantastic performance in SHALLOW GRAVE, he continues to challenge himself and create a number of memorable characters. Kenneth is absolutely one of those roles. When I sat with him, he spoke about working with Mallory and how all his Jedi training aided this current project. McGregor is truly one of the nicest actors working today, and certainly one of the most talented.
