Piranha can’t wait for movie sequel, start chowing on people in real life

Those flesh-eating fish must’ve become bored and/or hungry in the downtime between Alex Aja’s chowdown PIRANHA and the impending sequel, PIRANHA 3DD.

Last weekend, beachgoers in Brazil got more than just sun and fun when the ravenous little swimmers developed a hankering for some human ankles.

While the water didn’t turn a cinematic crimson with geysers of blood (or B-list actor penises being gnawed off) and the sand wasn’t littered with half-consumed bodies, at least a hundred bathers were treated at a hospital for bites to their heels and toes.

Since they have no predators, piranhas have started attacking people on the beach,” said  a local environment official, giving some individuals a nice distraction from their fear of sharks. And deadly jellyfish, and killer squids.

While there were undoubtedly some rockin’ bods on the Brazil beach, we’re guaranteed more boobs and butts and glorious carnage when FEAST director John Gulager’s gore-drenched sequel arrives in November. Among the potential meals is “30 Rock” actress Katrina Bowden (you’re welcome):
