Arnie’s been busy. The former governor has been lining up projects again since his recent hiatus from booking projects. I keep seeing possible films for him to star in pop up left and right. There’s been everything from CRY MACHO to TERMINATOR 5 to now CAPTIVE.
The indie thriller would set Arnie as, “an American real estate magnate living in Brazil who is kidnapped and held for ransom. As he frantically searches for a way out of his armored-truck prison cell hidden in a Sao Paolo landfill, a detective specializing in kidnap and ransom cases works to find him.”
Benjamin van der Veen and Kario Salem have scripted a story from Nicolai Fuglsig. With Fuglsig off as director, the hunt continues for someone to fill the chair. Production should start next year.
