Strasberg? Stella Adler? Stanislavski? Hacks! If you really want to break through as an actor, you might want to try Victoria. Marisa Miller is just the latest Victoria’s Secret model to cross over into acting, signing on to co-star with Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges in Universal’s supernatural action flick RIPD.

Miller, whose considerable talents you see to the right, joins fellow Victoria’s models Brooklyn Decker and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is making this jump to Hollywood this year. The actress, who graced the 2008 cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition, had previously acted in episodes of “Entourage” and “How I Met Your Mother,” would make her film debut with the project.

So who will she be playing? Jeff Bridges, actually. In a strange twist, Miller will play the “avatar” of Bridges’ character, a ghost who can’t be seen by humans. So when Bridges needs to crossover into the living, he brings his “avatar” and humans see Marisa Miller, instead of a dead confederate soldier.

Filming on RIPD is expected to begin this October with Kevin Bacon and Mary-Louise Parker also in the cast.
