If you haven’t heard, Freddy Krueger is a new downloadable character in MORTAL KOMBAT 9, debuting Tuesday on both Xbox Live and the Playstation Network. If you want to know if you’re getting your $4.99 worth to buy Freddy, take a look at the video below to see some of Freddy’s moves and, most importantly, his fatalities.
I’m surprised the design hews a little closer to the Jackie Earle Haley version of Freddy than the classic Robert Englund design but I’m guessing that came with the rights to the character. The game producers have said they’d also like to get Jason Voorhees, Leatherface and Michael Myers as characters if the Freddy version is successful. What do you think?
