Cool Videos: Jon Favreau directs Comic Con photoshoot with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Maggie Q, Yvonne Strahovski and others

Last Updated on February 13, 2026

We know by now that filmmaker Jon Favreau is a bona fide geek, but he’s a fortunate one as well. Sure, he’s made a couple of big superhero movies and just worked with Indiana Jones and James Bond on COWBOYS & ALIENS, but he also gets to hang out with six sexy ladies from current and upcoming genre TV series, who will do his bidding. Within reason.

Favs is the guest editor of The Hollywood Reporter‘s special Comic Con issue, and he gave some direction to Sarah Michelle Gellar, Yvonne Strahovski, Maggie Q, Anna Torv, Jennifer Morrison and Britt Robertson for some of its fanboy-focused pics (like the one below).
