After stripping off the tight blue suit, one-time Superman Brandon Routh decided to tackle various nocturnal beasts with the horror flick DYLAN DOG, aka DEAD OF NIGHT.
The movie disappeared for a while, but is now finally getting a North American release — and soon. The newly founded Omni/FSR label will put the flick on screens this April 29th as DYLAN DOG: DEAD OF NIGHT.
Routh plays the title character, based on a long-running Italian comic about a charismatic but neurotic “nightmare investigator” who looks into all things supernatural (the locale has switched from the books’ London to the dangerous underworld of New Orleans).
Kevin Munroe (TMNT) directed the the monster-filled action, which also features Routh’s SUPERMAN RETURNS co-star Sam Huntington, Peter Stormare, Anita Briem (JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH), and Taye Diggs as the vampire villain.
