Spider-Man is now formally known as The Amazing Spider-Man

We kinda already knew this but Sony Pictures officially announced today that the upcoming SPIDER-MAN reboot would be titled THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. You can also check out the film’s official site at www.TheAmazingSpiderMan-movie.com.

But that’s not the real news. Simultaneously with that announcement, Sony released the first full, official shot of Andrew Garfield in costume as Spider-Man. And? We can clearly now see the web shooters on his wrist, which I was the first to point out when the original photo was revealed. The new Spider-Man’s eyes are smaller (like the original design) and the webbing isn’t webbed so much as it is checkered. What do you think?
