Johnny Depp plays around on the set of Rango and calls it the natural acting experience

JoBloJoBlo

This should put a smile on your face.

RANGO helmer Gore Verbinski is trying a new technique when it comes to computer animation. The video is titled, “Behind the Scenes: Natural Acting Experience” and it looks like the best time ever. Johnny Depp, Bill Nighy, and Isla Fisher are some of the stars of the film playing around on set. I’m so jealous right now.

As Depp explains, the experience captures the natural movements and reactions of the actor to reflect the character later. It’s kind of like rehearsal for a play except with less pressure and no knowledge that your theater director is going to bitch at you during notes.
