Prayers granted! We will be seeing more Christoph Waltz!
Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Waltz will step in for Sean Penn on the film WATER FOR ELEPHANTS.
In the movie, Reece Witherspoon plays the star of a second rate circus, and Robert Pattinson is the veterinary student who falls in love with her. Waltz will play the abusive paranoid schizophrenic husband to Witherspoon. So, for those of you who are looking to get a good laugh at Pattinson getting his ass beat, Waltz could be the one delivering. WATER FOR ELEPHANTS is adapted from the novel of the same name by Sara Gruen.
I was interested in seeing this before when Penn was attached, but I’m definitely up for it now that Waltz is getting in on the action.
After his role in THE GREEN HORNET, Waltz will step into the shoes of Sigmund Freud for THE TALKING CURE alongside Keira Knightley and Michael Fassbender.
