Yes, ROBIN HOOD may look like two of Ridley Scott’s previous period epics smashed together (GLADIATOR and KINGDOM OF HEAVEN), but I maintain that’s not such a bad thing.
In this new short Superbowl spot for the film, we actually get to see a lot of new footage, and it clues us in that this is before Robin’s Sherwood Forest days, hence all the beach warfare. Some of the lines are a bit iffy, (“Are you ready to be who you are?”), but I have hope this will be pretty damn good when all is said and done.
