The Academy has just announced their selection of the fifteen documentaries to be considered for this year’s Oscars. I can’t say I’ve seen more than few of these, but it should be noted what did NOT make the cut, as TYSON, ANVIL: THE STORY OF ANVIL and Michael Moore’s CAPITALISM: A LOVE STORY all failed to get a nod.
TYSON I could go either way on, and I actually really didn’t think all that much of Moore’s CAPITALISM compared to his other projects, but ANVIL I thought was getting universal acclaim from almost everywhere. Check out the full list below, and see how many you’ve actually heard of.
