Whiplash Mark II?

New Whiplash look from the comics

What little we’ve seen yet from Mickey Rourke’s Whiplash in IRON MAN 2 suggests there’s much more to come, mainly a Mark II design for the character’s outfit and weapons.

Director Jon Favreau still has lots of time to tease us with further tidbits from the film, but Marvel itself may have given an advanced glimpse at what the antagonist could end up looking like. Marvel.com premiered the first look at Whiplash from their upcoming 4-issue miniseries “Iron Man vs Whiplash” set for store shelves this November.

Designs never translate perfectly from comics to film, but still, that one looks much better for cinematic purposes that the character’s previous S&M look, and suggests what might be in store for the Mickster. Kinda cool, Right?
