G.I. Joe? Figures.

JoBloJoBlo

You might be itching to check out G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA this weekend, but maybe you’re afraid director Stephen Sommers’ cartoonish action flick won’t stick close enough to the 80s animated series and toys.

So here’s THE INVASION OF COBRA ISLAND, an old-school (and officially sanctioned) short film entirely enacted with plastic effigies and featuring vocal work comparable to the original ‘toon (assisted by slightly creepy CG mouths and facial expressions).

It’s silly, amusing and… well, something to be witnessed. Our man Jimmy O says pretty much the same about the new movie – check out his review HERE.
