A couple of brand new trailers recently surfaced for two animated comedies that haven’t really been given much attention but maybe they should because these trailer ain’t so bad.
The first is for PLANET 51 in which someone who’s supposed to be Dwayne Johnson but kinda sounds nothing like him stars as an astronaut who lands on an alien planet and ends up becoming the alien everyone’s afraid of. Seann William Scott, Jessica Biel, Justin Long, Gary Oldman and John Cleese also lend their voices. The film opens November 20th. Get the HD goodness over at Yahoo HERE.
The second is for CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS, the adaptation of the popular Judi and Ron Barrett book of the same name in which a scientist, looking to solve his town’s food crisis, invents a machine that allows it to literally rain food. It comes off a whole lot better than it sounds. The voice cast includes Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Andy Samberg, Bruce Campbell, James Caan, Mr. T, and Tracy Morgan.
