“The Game”, or whatever you want to call this 50 Cent wannabe is probably the most emotionally unstable figure in rap music. His tunes are schizophrenic, his motives are absurd, and he’s not nearly as good looking as P Diddy. Still, casting directors seem to have a hard-on for this dude, as he’s set to play B.A. Baracus in director Joe Carnahan’s THE A-TEAM–a role originated on the TV show by Mr. T himself. Already cast are Liam Neeson as John “Hannibal” Smith, and Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck. Frankly, I could care less about this news because as far as I’m concerned this will be just another GET SMART, STARSKY AND HUTCH type project that just trickles into our “who gives a shit” pile of collective cinematic horse waste. But I’ll make sure to tell my grandmother that her favorite rapper has finally made it in Hollywood.
