Yorke and Santaolalla?

JoBloJoBlo

Ah, second TERMINATOR: SALVATION speculation of the day. Sorry. In this piece we have McG doing his thing where he talks about two incredible talents and his hopes to shoehorn them into his movie. This time it is Thom Yorke of Radiohead fame and Gustavo Santaolalla (BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN), who he is hoping will write some music for the movie. Danny Elfman is of course, still composing the score.

“We talked about Gustavo getting together with Thom Yorke from Radiohead which I thought would be very interesting. And they may still do a couple of sounds for the movie.”

I was gonna say that I didn’t think these guys would be a good fit for a TERMINATOR movie but the truth is I don’t know a damned thing about music. When Santaolalla won that Oscar for BABEL I thought (and still think) Clint Mansell should have won for THE FOUNTAIN and he wasn’t even nominated. You guys can tell me how it is, I guess.
