Mutant bug movies. There really just aren’t enough of them. So let’s be grateful for INFESTATION!
The upcoming flick stars Chris Marquette as an average office worker battling a sudden outbreak of gargantuan killer insects. It’s clearly being played for laughs, but there’s no shortage of carnage and juicy exploding creepy-crawlers. Looks like a blast.
The movie comes from director Kyle Rankin, who you might recall from the second season of “PROJECT GREENLIGHT” — which resulted in THE BATTLE OF SHAKER HEIGHTS with a young kid named Shia LaBeouf. Rankin has fortunately brought along his SHAKER HEIGHTS co-star Ray Wise to lend his enduring B-movie expertise.
