The remake of MY BLOODY VALENTINE will run a deep red. Literally — the blood will have depth (or the sense of it) thanks to the flick being shot in 3-D, so expect body parts and arterial spray to come hurling from the screen.
The movie, an update of the 1981 cult fave cheapie, stars SUPERNATURAL’s Winchester brother Jensen Ackles as a guy who returns home to his small mining town a decade after the local Valentine’s Day slaughter, only to encounter additional bloodshed. Jaime King, Kerr Smith and Tom Atkins also appear, while genre veteran Patrick Lussier (DRACULA 2000, the SCREAM series) orchestrates the carnage.
