Kate Hudson is a 9

JoBloJoBlo

Actress Kate Hudson will offer her remarkable talents (i.e., buttocks) for the increasingly star-powered musical NINE. Recurring co-star Matthew McConaughey will, fortunately, be left behind this time.

Hudson joins a list of lovely ladies that includes Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Sophia Loren, Nicole Kidman and the eminently sexy Dame Judi Dench, who will all somehow be involved with Daniel Day Lewis. Gals love a guy with multiple Oscars. Hudson plays Stephanie, “a fashion reporter from Vogue working in Italy”.

Rob Marshall (CHICAGO) brings the Broadway musical (inspired by Fellini’s 8 1/2) to screens, with Day Lewis as (somewhat) fictional film director Guido Contini who struggles with his career and a bunch of fine female specimens. All to song.

Javier Bardem (NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN) was initially lined up to play the leading man before DDL danced on in to the vacated role.
