Iron Man arrives early

JoBloJoBlo

With the marking machine getting overclocked, your excitement level for IRON MAN may be jacked to the point that you just can’t wait for opening day.

Turns out you won’t have to — according to Superhero Hype, the billionaire playboy in the gold and cherry red suit will actually be launching one night early. The movie will open May 1st with 8pm screenings (possibly earlier), although the theaters and cities may vary, so check your local listings!

In case you didn’t know, director Jon Favreau’s shiny hero is Marvel’s first solo movie from their own pockets and without studio involvement (Paramount is distributing). Let’s hope it’s the first of many, since Marvel’s own movies should theoretically stick closer to the source material than others in the past.
