Recently, NY Mag dropped some scoopage that master thesp Paul Giamatti is currently in talks for a role in the film. NY Mag surmises that Giamatti’s likely up for the role of Karl Rove, which makes sense, but the guy’s such a talented mofo, he could be playing pretty much anyone. And I’m including any female characters. Giamatti is currently helping establish an independent nation as the titular character in HBO’s “John Adams” mini-series, can next be heard in Rob Zombie’s animated horror action dramedy THE HAUNTED WORLD OF EL SUPERBEASTO and is currently filming the Tony Gilroy directed drama/thriller DUPLICITY.
