Banks is Bush

Elizabeth Banks, who just wrapped filming on ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO will be playing Laura Bush in W, Oliver Stone’s biopic on the life and presidency of George W. Bush. As we reported earlier, Josh Brolin will be playing the big man. I spent years studying American history and I have to say that one of the big reasons I didn’t enjoy (or even do well at) it was the lack of hot chicks in American politics. Thankfully, decades from now when my kids are being forced into studying history they’ll see 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN and then stumble into this movie and learn something. Being my kids, they’ll of course stumble into it looking for an Elizabeth Banks nude scene, and not out of a thirst for knowledge, but Albert Hoffman stumbled into the discovery of LSD by accident too and I think we all know how well that turned out. Of course, I don’t know, I mean, that’s just what I hear. Don’t do drugs, guys.

Stone co-wrote the screenplay with his WALL STREET co-writer Stanley Weisler. Banks will next be seen in MEET DAVE and MEET BILL. Wow, look how that turned out!
