Oh, great. Yet another movie about a Japanese schoolgirl with a ridiculously large automatic weapon for an arm.
Come to think of it, there actually aren’t enough movies like that. And after witnessing the trailer, I sure am glad to see THE MACHINE GIRL is filling that void. This preposterously over-the-top exploitation-style cheapie seems to have a similar kicky vibe from where guys like Ryuhei Kitamura (VERSUS) and Takashi Miike (AUDITION) emerged, loaded with all kinds of excessive violence and general insanity. Thankfully the cats at Twitch live below the radar and can alert us to such overseas overkill. Click to witness her in carnage-causing action.
