Let’s meet The Grays

JoBloJoBlo

Those huge-headed extraterrestrials love to mess with us lowly humans, don’t they? And while there never seems to be a shortage of aliens visiting rural communities for a little anal-probing experimentation, plenty of them make it to theaters as well.

Author Whitley Strieber’s “fact-based fiction” (he’s an abductee, y’see) THE GRAYS will check some rectums thanks to director Wolfgang Petersen (THE PERFECT STORM, TROY), according to the writer himself. He says Petersen has been hired by Sony to spin the tale of secretive space beings who’ve been “upgrading” humans for decades. Naturally there’s all kinds of military and government conspiracy, because that’s how things go, as we already learned from nine increasingly convoluted seasons of THE X-FILES (and one movie).

Sam Raimi was previously rumored to be interested in THE GRAYS, while Michael Bay has circled Strieber’s book 2012: THE WAR FOR SOULS.
