One of the more intriguing looking indie films to come out this year is the Ryan Gosling starring dramedy LARS AND THE REAL GIRL. Under director Craig Gillespie from a script by Nancy Oliver, Gosling stars as a lonely, delusional guy who starts a relationship with a doll he finds on the internet named Bianca. Emily Mortimer and Patricia Clarkson co-star as Gosling’s mortified friends.
The folks over at Defamer recently posted some footage ET recently aired and, as suspected, it looks like a deliciously absurd good time. The film will debut at the Toronto Film Festival in September with a limited release set for October 12th. Click on Gosling’s killer ‘stache to check out the footage.
