Apparently, Jessica Simpson might have made the first positive decision of her acting career, by turning down an unspecified role in a Porn-Star related movie. It’s reported that Simpson’s father (who is also her manager) declined the role:
“The last script that came to us was for Jessica to be a porn star. We were promised we would win an Oscar with that… I was like, ‘We’ll just buy a little man (Oscar) and keep our clothes on.”
If only it were so easy. Although I’m not surprised whoever was sending this script out tried a trick like that. I really have absolutely no idea whether or not Simpson is a moron, but from what I’ve seen on television I’d have to assume I could trick her into taking a role by bribing her with a Dorito, or at the very most a puppy. Still, I’d love to see Simpson’s cans, so all of you screenwriters working on Porn-Star movies, please, continue to make the request for your work to be sent out to Ms. Simpson’s management. Thanks.
