Halloween repairs?

Rob Zombie’s reworked HALLOWEEN is slicing into the hearts of John Carpenter fans next month, but is the crimson-soaked crusade of Michael Myers still unfinished?

According to the meat-beasts at Bloody Disgusting, Zombie has been doing frenetic reshoots, and has reassembled some of his cast only to disassemble them. They claim that the update of the Shatner-faced classic “has been given a serious boost in violence, gore and bloodshed”, plus a new ending.

Could this fallout from the recent screenings? Or did Zombie accidentally forget to include gratuitous amounts of carnage? That seems unlikely from the guy who made DEVIL’S REJECTS, but I guess we’ll find out soon if the excess hemoglobin can wash away the bad taste of the whole notion of the remake…
