I’m assuming that when WAR hits theaters in August, Jet Li and Jason Statham are gonna be all up in each other’s mugs, while red fire and shit happens behind them. What gives me that impression? See the proof in the new poster below.
The all-out action flick (formerly ROGUE) pits an FBI agent against an infamous Asian assassin, with chopsockey work handled by choreographer Corey Yuen, who handled the carnage on the TRANSPORTER movies as well as most of Li’s kung fu filmography.
The movie also features MY NAME IS EARL’s sultry Latino housekeeper Nadine Velazquez, and Kane Kosugi, son of legendary 1980s ninja master Sho Kosugi (REVENGE OF THE NINJA).
