I enjoy writing about Uwe Boll’s movies almost as much as our readership enjoys watching them. But when casting like this is involved, I will rise to the occasion, find a sizzling photo, and report the news.
Boll is currently hard at work or whatever on adapting the action videogame FAR CRY for the big screen, and he wrangled a lovely leading lady in modern-day scream-queen Emmanuelle Vaugier. The movie (?) stars German superstar (?) Til Schweiger (KING ARTHUR) as a mercenary who escorts this journalist/looker to a mysterious island where sinister plots and poorly choreographed gunfights unfold.
The $30 million flick will also feature Udo Kier (BLADE), Craig Fairbrass (WHITE NOISE: THE LIGHT), Michael Pare (STREETS OF FIRE), Ralf Moeller (TV’s CONAN) and numerous other actors known for being in Vancouver.
