What’s at Comic Con?

Last Updated on February 18, 2026

After nine consecutive years covering the California-based chaos that is Comic Con, I’m considering taking a break this year — but fear not, a veritable army of JoBlo reporters will be on hand to bring you the scoopage as it spills forth!

And there’s already some juicy stuff on the schedule (by the Eye of Agamotto, this thing is next month!). Comic Con has slowly been getting diluted from genre material and actual comic adaptations, and co-opted by nearby Hollywood as a platform to pimp just about anything they think would benefit from the buzz.

A preliminary list of flicks has been announced, with a lot of what we expected: HELLBOY 2, CORALINE, AvP2, STAR TREK, WANTED, 30 DAYS OF NIGHT, WHITE OUT, IRON MAN, THE INCREDIBLE HULK, SPEED RACER, INDIANA JONES 4, BEOWULF, I AM LEGEND, STARDUST, RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION.

And then there are some borderline or outright suspect entries: AMERICAN GANGSTER, BABYLON AD, THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM, FRED CLAUS, GET SMART, NATIONAL TREASURE 2, SWEENEY TODD…

I’d say that it’s a sure thing we’d see something on THE DARK KNIGHT there… if I hadn’t already been proven wrong when BATMAN BEGINS was basically a no-show except a quickie “Wish we could be there” vid message from Bale and Nolan. We shall see! Either way, this show’s ass will be covered, in the best way.
