Having genre veterans and fellow fanboys (fanmen?) like Tom Jane and Ron Perlman in THE MUTANT CHRONICLES will hopefully help make it a satisfying action flick. There aren’t enough sci-fi movies (outside of the standard Saturday Sci-Fi Channel cheese) with soldiers battling beasts in a futuristic setting.
Artist David Allcock has hipped us to this atmospheric new poster, as well as the freshly updated OFFICIAL SITE, which greets us with the troops all geared up.

The flick, set in a blasted-out future where corporations have battled each other over natural resources, is aiming for a grim WWI tone. Jane plays an elite soldier leading a resistance against new invaders who comes to pick at the leftovers of humanity.
