Patton looks in Mirror

JoBloJoBlo

Last month it was announced that Kiefer Sutherland would go from emotionally damaged superspy to emotionally damaged security guard in Alexandre Aja’s (HAUTE TENSION) supernatural thriller MIRRORS. Now comes news that Paula Patton (DEJA VU) has been cast alongside Sutherland.

Ms. Patton will play the skeptical soon-to-be-ex of Sutherland’s guard, who doesn’t believe his claim that the mirrors in his department store reflect the evil versions of the people who look into them. I haven’t seen Patton in anything yet, but I do remember that she stood out in the trailers for IDLEWILD and DEJA VU as a true beauty. Here’s hoping that Sutherland loses the Jack Bauer Curse-On-Women-He-Loves so that Patton’s character doesn’t end up dead by the end of the film. But on second thought, that could be kind of tragically fun. Shooting begins this may in Romania.
