How can CRANK makers Brian Taylor and Mark Neveldine follow the preposterous (and strangely ingenious) mayhem of their feature debut? How about a… medical murder mystery?

Momentarily putting aside their penchant for velocity and casual outrageousness, the duo scripted PATHOLOGY, which begins production in April. Their gratuitously frenetic directing style won’t be on display, however — German commercial director Marc Schoelermann is making his feature debut on the flick. The story follows a group of doubtlessly attractive medical students who compete to commit the perfect crime, one that can’t even be solved by that word in the title.
