YOU'RE NEXT / THE GUEST director Adam Wingard's monster mash GODZILLA VS. KONG will begin filming within the next month, and even though everyone's going to be showing up at the theatre to see the giant creatures knock each other around Wingard is still assembling a solid human cast for the film.

So far Millie Bobby Brown, reprising her role from Michael Dougherty's upcoming GODZILLA sequel GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS, has been joined by Julian Dennison, Brian Tyree Henry, and Alexander Skarsgard. Now comes word that two more cast members have signed on.

The latest cast additions are Rebecca Hall, who you might know from IRON MAN 3 or THE TOWN, and Eiza Gonzalez, whose credits include BABY DRIVER and the From Dusk Till Dawn television series (pictured above). No details have been revealed about either of their characters.

At least the movie should still be interesting when Godzilla and Kong aren't on the screen.

A rematch more than 55 years in the making (Japan-based Toho Studios released a KING KONG VS. GODZILLA film in 1962), GODZILLA VS. KONG is the culmination of Warner Bros. and Legendary's MonsterVerse, a shared universe of giant monster movies that began with 2014's GODZILLA and continued with last year's KONG: SKULL ISLAND.

GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS reaches theatres on May 31, 2019. GODZILLA VS. KONG is scheduled to follow on May 22, 2020.
