It was only earlier this week that we learned THE NUN star Demian Bichir had joined the cast of the upcoming reboot of THE GRUDGE from director Nicolas Pesce (THE EYES OF MY MOTHER). And today we have news that THE EXORCIST season 2 star John Cho will be joining in on the kids and curses this go-around as well.
Cho is an interesting choice and I dug his work on the second season of FOX's THE EXORCIST so I'm all for him being added to the fun. What do you think of this casting? A mysterious and vengeful spirit marks and pursues anybody who dares enter the house in which it resides.
Raimi is producing the film with Rob Tapert through their company Ghost House. Schuyler Weiss, Roy Lee, Doug Davison, and Good Universe's Nathan Kahane and Erin Westerman serve as executive producers. Romel Adam is overseeing the project for Ghost House, while Brady Fujikawa does the same for Good Universe.
Pesce's THE GRUDGE is set to begin filming in May.
