Shane Black's THE PREDATOR is currently shooting in Vancouver, and even as Black himself shares images of the main cast with us, he's still adding names to the roster.

It has been reported that Jake Busey has joined the cast of the action-horror flick. Of course, the nature of his role is under wraps, but it is worth noting that his pop, the immortal Gary Busey, appeared in PREDATOR 2 as a shady government agent. Is there any continuity here? I'm going to guess no, but still kind of fun to think about.

Jake has some genre cred to his name, with Peter Jackson's THE FRIGHTENERS, Paul Verhoeven's STARSHIP TROOPERS, Robert Zemeckis' CONTACT and James Mangold's IDENTITY being the stand-outs. He also appeared as "Sex Machine" in El Rey's From Dusk Till Dawn series (pictured above and below).

THE PREDATOR also stars Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Sterling K. Brown, Keegan-Michael Key, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane, Alfie Allen, Yvonne Strahovski and Olivia Munn. The film opens on February 9, 2018.
