80’s mania has swept the nation after the massive success of Stranger Things, so it’s time to return to the decade once more in the 80’s-set psychological thriller JACKALS, the newest project from SAW veteran Kevin Greutert (he directed SAW VI and THE FINAL CHAPTER, but before that he edited SAWS II through V).
The flick will star Stephen Dorff (BLADE, IMMORTALS) as:
a cult de-programmer hired by a family to get back their teenage son from a murderous cult, but find themselves under siege when the cultists surround their cabin, demanding the boy back.

The script was penned by Jared Rivet. JACKALS also stars Johnathon Schaech (QUARANTINE), Deborah Kara Unger (THE GAME), Ben Sullivan (Hell on Wheels), Chelsea Ricketts (Scream Queens), and Nick Roux (LEMONADE MOUTH).
The film was produced by Tommy Alastra Productions.
