The Sam Raimi-directed premiere of Ash vs. Evil Dead was a bloody knockout, kicking off the zany new world of Bruce Campbell's Ashley J. Williams. However, the fact remains that – gooey and ecstatic as it was – it was a pilot episode. Its job was to set up the new characters and scenarios. It laid the groundwork for the even more over-the-top followup, scenes of which can be admired in this new promo.
While it may not have that gonzo Raimi touch, it's just as funny as the show has been, perhaps even more. Check out the video below!
