Directors Nick Kozakis and Kosta Ouzas offer their take on the undead with their new film PLAGUE, which follows a group of survivors who battle the world of terror that was left behind after surviving an infection that wiped out most of mankind. So, it sounds a lot like every other zombie movie out there, but it’s in these familiar ideas that we find a lot of great stories. In PLAGUE:
A small group of survivors seek shelter from an infection that has spread like a plague among the human race. Evie and her fellow survivors find refuge and wait for her husband John’s return. After the infected attack, Evie refuses to abandon her husband against the wishes of the group. The survivors revolt leaving Evie to an uncertain fate. With the unexpected arrival of Charlie what appears to be an opportunity at a new beginning quickly turns into a horror as menacing as the infected that pursue them.
It stars Tegan Crowley, Scott Marcus, Steven Kennedy, Don Bridges, Nicholas Stribakos and Sarah Ranken.
