Paul Feig may have found his first female Ghostbuster: Rebel Wilson

In an interview with NBC’s The Today Show, the Australian comedienne admitted that she’s met with Feig, who directed her in BRIDESMAIDS, about participating in GHOSTBUSTERS 3, although it sounds as though no deal is in place just yet.

Look, I have had a meeting, but who knows, who knows. They have to look at the script when it’s finished.”

Haha, doesn’t Rebel know that script will never be finished?

Wilson, also known for her turns in PITCH PERFECT and PAIN AND GAIN, added that she would do the movie basically for free. I’m sure the producers are happy to hear it.

Katie Dippold is currently penning the GHOSTBUSTERS 3 screenplay.
