Saw re-release trailer Halloween James Wan 2004 Leigh Whannell Cary Elwes

How in the hell is SAW ten years old already? Mind-boggling, but it is indeed a fact, and to celebrate Lionsgate is re-releasing James Wan's directorial debut for one week only this Halloween. Because if it's Halloween, it must be…

Today the poster and trailer for the revival have come to light, and you can see them both below. The film originally opened on October 29. 2004 and made a very impressive $18 million opening weekend, on its way to grossing over $100 million worldwide and spawning six sequels. Not bad for a flick with a budget of $1 million made by complete unknowns.

With a dead body lying between them, two men wake up in the secure lair of a serial killer who's been nicknamed "Jigsaw". The men must follow various rules and objectives if they wish to survive and win the deadly game set for them.

SAW will be unleashed in theaters this Halloween.
