Very pleased to present you with the official trailer for LUCY, the latest joint from Luc Besson. This one stars Scarlett Johansson as a superhuman ass-kicker who takes down every man she meets. Kinda like in real life! (I don’t stand by that statement.)

This looks like an absolute blast; Besson may not be perfect, but sometimes he crafts a dumb-fun action extravaganza that totally batters down your defenses. This seems like one of the good ones.

Coming out on August 8th, LUCY…

tracks a woman accidentally caught in a dark deal who turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic.

LUCY co-stars Morgan Freeman, Analeigh Tipton and Min-sik Choi.
