David Cronenberg’s ghost story MAPS TO THE STARS is adding more stars. The film, written by Bruce Wagner, already has Julianne Moore, Robert Pattinson, Sarah Gadon and John Cusack on board, and is in the process of bringing in Mia Wasikowska (STOKER; pictured above), Olivia Williams (pictured below) and newcomer Evan Bird.

While little is known about the actual plot – all we know is the ghost story angle and that it’s a critique of celebrity culture – the new castmembers come with some character descriptions: Newcomer Bird will play a troubled, drug-addicted child star, while Williams will play his manipulative mother, and Wasikowska his disfigured, schizophrenic, fame-obsessed sister.

eOne Films International holds worldwide rights and will launch sales at Cannes next week. eOne will directly distribute the film in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
