Way the hell back in March, we previewed a picture called THE COTTAGE, starring David Arquette. The article we wrote back then acknowledged the lack of release info, but now, we not only know exactly when the flick will arrive, we have the trailer, box art and new synopsis for low-budget thriller. All below…

Directed by Chris Jaymes and written by Nick Antosca – THE COTTAGE centers on:

Chloe (Kristen Dalton, below) and Michael Carpenter (Victor Brown), a struggling suburban couple, have no idea what they’re in for when they rent out the cottage behind their house to a quiet, charming romance novelist named Robert Mars (Arquette). It appears that Mr. Mars was looking for much more than a place to rent. Chloe begins to suspect he’s not who he says he is and she soon realizes that she’s in the fight of her life to protect herself and her family.

Also starring Morissa O’Mara, Alana O’Mara, Lorraine Nicholson, Rome Shadanloo and Kyle Slabotsky – THE COTTAGE drops on DVD October 9th.
