How are you guys feeling about Scott Stewart’s new alien adventure DARK SKIES? Personally I’m not completely sold on this one just yet but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have my attention. I mean it’s Keri Russell! We haven’t seen this chick in forever and she still seems as cute as ever.
But I’m getting off-topic here. Today news broke over at Variety that REAL STEEL youngster Dakota Goyo will be joining Russell and company in DARK SKIES. Plans are for Goyo (right) to play the son of Russell (below) and Josh Hamilton’s characters.
Dark Skies is a psychological thriller about a suburban couple whose lives become a nightmare when a terrifying alien presence enters their home each night to prey upon their children. Increasingly isolated from skeptical friends and neighbors, the couple is forced to take matters into their own hands to save their family.
Coming our way from Blumhouse Productions and Alliance Films, DARK SKIES should start production sometime this Summer, if it hasn’t already done so. Dimension will be handling distribution for the supernatural thriller.
