Tina Majorino, aka “Hey, it’s the girl from WATERWORLD and NAPOLEON DYNAMITE!”, has joined the latest season of “True Blood,” according to TVLine. Interesting that the casting news is breaking now, as the show will premiere in a little over a week, but fans of the show will take it, I’m sure.

Majorino will play a key member of the Vampire Authority’s support staff who first appears in Episode 3, which is scheduled to air June 24. The role is a recurring one, says the website.

Majorino has been in the acting game just about her entire life. In addition to the two films mentioned above, the actress has been seen in flicks like WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN, ANDRE and CORRINA, CORRINA. Lately she’s become something of a TV vet; she’s appeared in “Big Love,” “Bones,” and, naturally, the animated “Napoleon Dynamite” series.

“True Blood” premieres on HBO JUNE 10th.
