FX adapting female serial killer novel Heartsick for the small screen

Are you guys familiar with Chelsea Cain’s best-selling book series HEARTSICK? No? Well you’re about to be!

According to Deadline Hollywood a drama series based on the novels has just been put in development by FX. Mikko Alanne has already been tapped to adapt the novels for the small screen, which include HEARTSICK, SWEETHEART and EVIL AT HEART. Geyer Kosinski will be executive producing through his Media Talent Group banner.

The thriller novels center on beautiful serial killer Gretchen Lowell and her relationship with damaged Portland detective Archie Sheridan.
