Alright so we’ve kind of been poking fun at Ole Bornedal’s THE POSSESSION here at AITH since the thing started production. Originally titled DIBBUK BOX, THE POSSESSION just really hasn’t made any stride in regards to getting people excited. Fact is it seems un-original and boring. But at least it’s got a b*tchin’ one-sheet!
The guys over at Bloody-Disgusting were kind enough to drop the first poster for THE POSSESSION today and I’ve got to say… It’s a little bit handsy. Talk about getting your grope on! Go ahead and scroll down below to get a look at the poster for yourself to see what I mean.
The film will follow Clyde Breneck and his 10-year-old daughter, Em, who purchases an antique box at a yard sale. With the box, Em accidentally releases an ancient spirit that has one goal: to devour her. Clyde must team work with his ex-wife to put an end to the curse.
Starring Kyra Sedgwick, Jeffery Dean Morgan, Agam Darshi (below), Natasha Calis and Madison Davenport, THE POSSESION is set to hit theaters on August 31st.
