It may have taken, what, three years, but Sean Byrne’s psycho-thriller/dark comedy THE LOVED ONES is finally washing up on U.S. shores. This summer, Paramount Insurge and Tugg.com are allowing the movie-going public to decide which cities to bring the film to, and now that a few have been decided, the time has come to unleash a brand new trailer!

Starring Xavier Samuel, Robin McLeavy, Jessica McNamee, Richard Wilson and Victoria Thaine, THE LOVED ONES goes like this:

Lola Stone asked Brent Mitchell to the prom, but Brent said no, and now he’s screwed. What happens when Lola doesn’t get what she wants? She enlists Daddy’s help to throw a prom of her own, where she is queen and Brent is king — whether he likes it or not. THE LOVED ONES is what happens when puppy love goes horribly, violently wrong. Brent should have said yes…

So far, it looks like THE LOVED ONES will be playing in San Francisco, L.A., Austin, New York, Houston and Chicago, all beginning on JUNE 1st. For more info on where it will be showing, or to request a screening in your neck of the woods, click right HERE.
